The largest indoor play area in Jersey

When the Playzone was built in 1999, it was the biggest indoor soft play area in Europe.

The four level soft play area with multiple slides and challenge elements is a fantastic facility for children under 1.45m to have exciting, active and safe fun.

The Playzone is split into two areas, Toddler Area for children 3 years and under including parents with non-walkers and the Junior Area.

Price of entry

£3.80  per child per session

Adults go free (max 1 adult per child)

Children must wear long sleeves and socks (preferably with grips) in the Playzone.

Please also note, that the Playzone no longer accepts cash payments.

How to use playzone

CHILDREN PLAY AT THEIR OWN RISK / SUPERVISING ADULTS RISK

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD IS “SIGNED OUT” WHEN LEAVING THE PLAYZONE

HYGIENE – Please ensure the children use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the Playzone.

SHOES AND ITEMS OF CLOTHING – Shoes jewellery, ties, neck cords or other hard/sharp items of clothing e.g. belts with large buckles are not permitted into the Playzone.

LOOSE ITEMS AND VALUABLES – Money and any other loose items including hard toys are not permitted into the Playzone.

SOCKS – For hygiene purposes, participants are required to wear socks whilst in Playzone (socks can be purchased if required from Playzone counter).

FOOD AND DRINK – No Food or Drink is permitted inside the Playzone.

RUNNING PUSHING AND ROBUST PLAY – Is NOT permitted in the Playzone, to avoid tripping, collisions with other people or equipment. Play equipment must NOT be thrown, dropped or pushed onto other children as this could cause injury.

PERIMETER NETTING – Children are NOT allowed to climb the perimeter netting.

SPECIAL NEEDS – We welcome children with special needs and their supervising adults to the Playzone. The supervising adult will be required to stay close to the child and in some cases with the child at all times.

SLIDES – Children must NOT climb or run up any of the slides in the Playzone. Parents are not allowed down the slides except in emergencies.

HURDLES – Children must NOT jump from one hurdle to another, they are designed to be jumped over.

PLAYZONE STAFF – Our staff are responsible for ensuring the safe use of equipment. The physical and emotional wellbeing of the children remains the responsibility of the supervising adults. Any disciplinary or behavioural issues will be referred by staff to the supervising adults.

SUPERVISING ADULTS – Unless you are supervising children aged 3 and under, or a child with special needs, you must limit your use of the equipment which is designed to be used by young children only. Playzone staff may restrict adults accessing the upper levels during busy periods.
